Charting a New Financial Path to Victory: Part II

Last week I created a blog post discussing the path that I laid out for the #CityofHemet as their #CityManager and how we made it to success and a new foundation for the community.

Later on that week, the California State Auditor actually published an article discussing that Hemet had been removed, and a formal report as to the why. You can see that here: https://www.auditor.ca.gov/reports/2022-802/index.html

In their report you can find the comprehensive strategy that I engineered and pioneered for the community which covers community engagement, building the management team, analysis of city operations, and strategic planning for the city.

Hearing a third party discuss these items and highlighting these items is a proud and meaningful accomplishment, and I give many thanks to the Council members who supported the changes (they were not unanimous) and for prioritizing fiscal health for the community.
