Aaron Judge Thoughts

It was the moment that most of us knew would come at some point. Aaron Judge making history.

While this isn't a post on the latest management happenings, or the latest corporate information, Aaron Judge's performance and highlight reels have been nothing short of incredible. Growing up as a Yankees fan, I recall the days of Derek Jeter, Tino Martinez, Mariano Rivera, and Jorge Posada leading the Yankees dynasty into a new and incredible legacy.

“Surround yourself with amazingly intelligent men and women. The people I work with not only are smarter than I am, possessing both intellectual and emotional intelligence, but also share my determination to succeed. I will not make an important decision without them.”

Can you guess who said that? None other than George Steinbrenner.

Teamwork

While we celebrate the incredible feat of Aaron Judge, do we draw lines on individual accomplishments versus team accomplishments? Does it matter whether the Yankees win another #WorldSeries or do we admire the sole accomplishment of Mr. Judge?

I think Aaron does a great job promoting the importance of the team aspect; his individual accomplishment is not something to be minimized though.
